Samuel Cleage House 1

The Samuel Cleage (Clegg) House, built c. 1826, is one of the best preserved high Federal style structures in this state. It is also one of the first brick structures built by white settlers in the newly ceded Hiwassee District. The house was designed and built by the notable Cleage and Crutchfield firm.
